Student Design Competition

All students or student teams are invited to participate in the 2026 IEEE Ukrainian Microwave Week Student Design Competition. The contest encourages students to employ creative problem solving and gain practical design experience by developing a circuit to address a problem stated in the rules while following specified constraints. The students will provide their designs to the competition where the circuit will be evaluated and compared with the other presented solutions. Participants and winners will be recognized by the certificates from the IEEE Ukrainian Microwave Week.
The Student Design Competitions will take place on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 in an online event (the exact schedule as well as the dial-in information will be provided to the registered participants after 17 July 2026). The registration deadline is 26 June 2026.
How to participate
1. Follow the link below to download the competition description and rules. Contact the Competition Chair (contact information is provided in the file below) for questions related to the technical specification and design details. Students are advised to contact the Competition Chair as early as possible, to ensure a full understanding of the design specifications and judging criteria before beginning their projects:
